How to Take Photos & Video of Your Dent

This gives us a chance to take an initial look at the dent, determine whether it appears to be a good candidate for Paintless Dent Repair, and prepare for your in-person estimate.
All final repair estimates are completed in person after we inspect the vehicle.
Here's What We Need to See
1. Show the Entire Vehicle

Start several feet away from your vehicle.
Take a photo that shows the entire vehicle.
If the dent is on a door, for example, show us the whole door rather than only taking a close-up of the damage.

Move around the damaged area and take photos from several angles.
Try photographing the dent from approximately a 45-degree angle instead of only taking pictures straight toward it.
The changing reflections across the paint help us see the dent's shape, depth and edges.

Now take a closer photo of the dent.
Get close enough that we can clearly see the damage, but not so close that we can no longer tell where the dent is located on the vehicle.
For very small door dings, you can place a small piece of painter's tape a few inches away from the dent to help us locate it.
